Understanding AI checks and our use of AI
We use AI tools to support research, analysis and drafting. People remain responsible for checking the facts and reviewing the work. You approve material prepared in your name before it is submitted or published.
What one answer tells you
An AI response shows what a particular platform said to a particular question at that time. It is a useful starting point, but it does not show every answer another person might receive.
Answers can differ with the question, conversation history, product version and whether current web sources are used. A favorable answer does not settle every concern, and an alarming answer should be checked against reliable information.
How we assess progress
We test a defined set of questions across relevant platforms, save dated answers and repeat the checks. We compare factual accuracy, missing information and the sources cited, alongside changes in search results.
The goal is to improve how you are represented and show you what is changing across the questions we test.
Information you submit
Do not enter confidential or sensitive information into an AI feature without understanding which provider receives it and how it is handled. Ask us before sharing sensitive material for an assessment.
General information
AI outputs and website examples are not a substitute for an assessment of your situation. We verify claims before treating them as facts or acting on them.
